Grated Yuca

Also known as Cassava to the Latin American communities. It is a  long tuberous starchy root.  It has a brown fibrous skin and a snowy white interior flesh.  Its native to Brazil and other tropical areas. Yuca must be cooked because in its raw state can be poisonous. It’s texture is similar to a potato, but sweeter and nuttier than a potato.
