Grapefruit

The grapefruit, originating from Barbados, was known as the shaddock or Shattuck until the nineteenth century. The grapefruit is a Hesperidumor, a large modified berry with a thick rind.

It is rich in nutrients, antioxidants and fiber, making it one of the healthiest citrus fruits.
