Acai

Acai (ah-sigh-ee) is a berry native to Brazilian rain forests and called a superfood for its high antioxidant content. It also provides vitamin A, C, E, heart-healthy facts, calcium, and fiber. What does it taste like? Blackberry and dark chocolate.

With a noticeably short shelf life, acai is sold as frozen puree or powdered.
